Dedicated Engineering & Development team to facilitate design, modelling and simulation of every casting before production, this is done to increase optimization of castings and prevent Defects/rejections on the shop floor.

This department is equipped with 3D CAD/CAM software – Fusion 360.

Simulation software – ADSTEFAN, Japan.

  • CNC routers for in-house manufacturing of thermocole patterns used in Full Mould Process
  • 3D scanner for analyzing dimensional accuracy of the thermocole pattern
  • Repair and maintenance for wooden and aluminum patterns used in sand casting process.

Continuous sand mixers by Omega:

  • 1 nos – 35 M.T/hour
  • 1 nos -10 M.T/hour

Resin system

  • Furan based resin
  • Auto feeding system for Resin & Catalyst to have consistency in sand properties.

Semi automatic core manufacturing with drier

  • This information repeated twice In-house designed coating and drying of thermocole patterns for full mold process
  • Dedicated core drier unit for conventional molding process.

Medium frequency Induction

Furnaces – Inductotherm make:

  • 2 Crucibles of 6 MT each
  • 2 Crucibles of 2 MT – Dual track furnace
  • 1 Crucible of 500kg
  • Pouring ladles ranging from 500Kg to 6MT
  • Andon system used to quickly and efficiently pass the key information of chemical analysis.
  • 1 nos – 12 M.T capacity
  • 1 nos – 5 M.T capacity
  • Sufficient air pneumatic tools –FEIN make (Germany)
  • Swing frame grinders

In-house painting booth for primer coating of castings based on customer specification.

  • Oil fired bogie hearth furnace with temperature control. Temperature cycle recording and graph with every heat treatment cycle.
  • Capacity per cycle – 20 MT

Quality is the hallmark of Bhuwalka Castings. In order to ensure the physical & chemical properties of our products, our Quality Control Department has facilities:

  • 29 Elements Optical Emission Spectrometer from SPECTRO MAXx – Germany for determining precise chemical composition of the metal.
  • Disc and Micro Polishing machine – for preparation of Spectro and Micro Specimen.
  • Meta scope Optical Microscopy equipment with photographic attachment and Image Analyzer.
  • Complete sand testing facilities of incoming and in-process sand.
  • Optical Brinell Hardness Testing Machine.
  • Poldi Hardness Tester and Equotip-3.
  • UTM Machine with Printer & PC graphs
  • Izod impact testing machine.

Non-Destructive Testing:

  • Magnetic Particle Inspection
  • Dye Penetration testing
  • Ultrasonic for detection of surface, sub- surface and defects inside the castings.
